Nice GLWS. You don't keep your cars very long do you mate?
My missis's sister still has the Mondeo she bought off you 3 years ago.

Remember all the shit you got about the Mondeo about it being overpriced?
Well Beccy still loves they only thing she has have to do to it in 3 years is two rear wheel bearing, a power steering pump and 4 tyres.
I'd say it was/is an excellent car.

that's really nice, would be tempted to replace my 530d with that as i'm finding it too juicy on fuel (for a diesel)

would you consider a part ex?

Ginge-This is what i got after my E60 530d as like you say, they were getting a little thirsty.
These are brilliant on fuel and go ok as its the 170 version.

Whats the spec ect on yours out of interest???

black on black E39 genuine msport auto 130k. (with 18 inch parallels)

mechanically great, few marks on bumpers and as its its black really needs some hours correcting the paintwork for light scratches

mot and tax till mid 2014. .

they are pretty poor on fuel as i do a traffic commute and short trips, so only see 26-27mpg

yeah i know

i havent convinced myself getting rid is the right idea, its such a great car. i was looking at new cars 2012 onwards. thing is using them daily, they get marks and scrapes, so i though perhaps a new car isn't the way forward. the 530 is great but getting just over 100 miles to £30 is a bit soul destroying

i put it up on here but didn't get many takers, tough time of the year to sell i guess

Yer, i know what your saying. I remeber selling mine and thinking they are such an all round good car....but even being a diesel they were beginning to get costly to run.

NOt fussed if i sell mine tbh, just thought i would see. i usually have an idea what i fancy next but nothing grabs me so not really bothered.......

Chris--Yes Sold the Bentley wheels on Monday, could of sold them 10 times over as they are very sought after. Not sure what to go for next really....nothing grabs me at the minute

Pete-Yer they do, especially the Black Editions as they have all the good styling bits.

Not at £10k.... Since it left me it's lost £1000 worth of seat and harness and got a set of cheap and nasty budget tyres all round, I'd just put £700 worth of AD08 Yokos on her...

Just to add...
It's still a well sorted car that had more than the asking price spent on her, but having her back would be like going back out with an ex girlfriend lol

Steve

I like the look of this

do you know if the wheels were factory black or refurbed in black?

most of the special editions seem to have these rs4 alloys in bright silver or sometimes anthracite ?

have you had any issues with the hex shaft causing pump failure in your ownership?

The wheels have been professionally painted Black to go with the styling of the car and are genuine Audi rims, not like alot that have replicas fitted. Also they are shod in Michelin Sport Contact 3's.
No Issues with the Hex shaft as its the 170bhp 2007 car. That was more prown on the earlier 140bhp models

The hex shaft problems were early models before 2006 i believe, mines a 56 plate 170 with no issues other than dodgy injectors that audi will replace foc

Lovely car and they are a rare find to have leather trim and additional spec

I wasnt upset mate, it just didnt apply to my vehicle like i said when i first replied to what you first posted.
But even after that you posted another article about problems that are with a completely different engine.......Thats why i had to AGAIN let you know that mine was not affected by this issue.

I assume that your not interested in the car, so therefore you dont need to reply to anything else on this thread.......Thanks......
