The hex shaft problems were early models before 2006 i believe, mines a 56 plate 170 with no issues other than dodgy injectors that audi will replace foc

, And ive had the injectors and wiring harness replaced by Audi when the Cambelt was changed at 75000 mile.....
What more could you ask for.....lol
