Description:

I bought this Focus RS as a completely standard car back in January 2011 with 126,139 miles. Current mileage is 134,400. It was purchased from an RSOC member who has owned the car for approx. 1 year. Prior to this it was used as a company director car hence the mileage. The car is in very good condition considering its age and the miles covered. There are some slight bubbles on the rear arches and the usual stone chips (been there since I have owned it and not got worse and some surface rust on the tail gate). I bought the FRS with the intention of highly modifying it which is why I carefully considered my options and decided the mileage was not an issue as most of the parts would be replaced. I have since modified it into a very fast road / track day car. I am now getting back into motorsport and have decided to sell the FRS as any fast driving will be done on the track from now on.

History:

The car was used as a company car for LFL Group. Whilst in their ownership the car was transferred into 3 individual names but remained as a company car.

1st - 3rd owner - LFL Group - Private plate of R5 LFL was added to the vehicle on 19/05/03.
This plate was removed on 12/01/10.

• Zirco Tek coated Blueflame Tubular Manifold.

• JohnFRS Hybrid Turbo with spun housing.
• JohnFRS oil feed line with filter.
• Relocated Air Filter and larger Filter.
• Airtec Front Mount Intercooler with shortened pipework.

• Roose heater matrix hoses, one way valve hoses and all common failure coolent hoses.
• Air conditioning removed.

• Sabre tuning live map to approx 400 bhp and 380 ft lb torque. (do not have an up to date print out as map has been adjusted but speak with Paul or Leighton at Sabre who will confirm power output).


Exterior:

• Front Bumper Splitter.
• Colour Coded Door handles.
• ST170 Front Headlights.
• Smoked indicators all round.
• LHD Fog light.
• Heko Front window wind deflectors.



Wheels:

• Standard wheels in very good condition included


Brakes:

• 6 Pot AP racing 355mm upgrade to front.
• Grooved rear discs with new Ferodo pads.

Interior:

• All original seats, door trims and panels removed.
• Full safety devices 14 point cage with cross door bars.
• 2 bucket seats with 4 point harnesses.
• Ford Racing Boost Gauge in custom mount.
• Scan gauge in custom mount.



Exhaust:

• Full 3” BCS exhaust system from turbo back including sports cat. Single box system with straight through in centre section.

Suspension:

• Recent new shockers and H and R lowering springs fitted to car.

Other:

• Battery relocated.
• Up rated DW65 in tank Fuel Pump.
• Car has leather wallet.
• Air conditioning has been removed.


All the parts listed above have been purchased brand new and total in excess of £10,000. I have thousands of £ worth of receipts to show the parts were new when fitted. I am confident I can break the car and sell for parts for more than the asking price but it is a complete package and ready to go so would be a shame. The car has never been used on track. It is ready for track use and drives incredibly well. I have priced it to sell and will not be taking stupid offers but open to sensible offers. Only reason for sale is getting back into motorsport next year so will be racing on weekends rather than using the Focus.
