Default wet fiesta boot, where's the water coming from?

It would appear to be coming from the boot seal as its all gunky but how is it getting in?

Can it get in from somewhere else?

Can I get a replacement?

Etc?

Sit someone in the boot and get the hose pipe on it .As Glenn said above rear light seals are a suspect and the boot seal.

if its a mk5 then its common for water to get in through the rear wiper grommet, easy to tell as sometimes if you lift up the tailgate and water comes out the drain hole dead centre near latch other than that the lads advice is next place I would look and boot seals and light gaskets are still available from ford

Rear light seals are common too IIRC. mk4/5's were prone to it.

cheers guys

the boot floor is soaking wet, but the lights on both sides are bone dry, so dry in fact that there are spiders living behind the carpeting
