could someone tell me the best paint and underseal to use on my sierra shells. both will be in bare metal by tomorrow night inside, underneath and outside. they are being sand / soda blated tomorrow so need to get protection on asap. some areas will need repair so primer will be put on just for the protection. any advice would be very welcome as i'm sure there will be a few on here who have done this. i want to try and do everything myself as far as possible. top coat will be 2k diamond white.
Normal primer is porous and will offer little protection.
I used epoxy primer from here when I bare metaled mine.

I work in the restoration game and our painters use epoxy primer on bare steel. It states on the epoxy we use you can leave the part outside for upto 3 months with no effect. And believe me is sticks like shit to a blanket and is really difficult to sand off.
I find etch is good for small areas, repairs etc.
All depends on what you want really. remember Gravitex is porous and will require painting after.
