Ive changed my steering rack from PAS to manual for a track car. but since doing it and putting it back together with trhe track rods etc my wheels are towing out but the Rod ends are wound in fully so they cant get any more tow in any more. i havent got my old rack so cant measure it but wanted someone to measure there rack without track rods inc in the measurement.

just been and had a measure roosie and it measures 1260mm

 

pefect cheers, same as mine so i must have wrong steering rack rods then.

 

I have a std rack on Project Trackshed and I had Cossie ends so thru them on, not tracked yet but looks ok ???

 

There was something wrong with mine too, when tony did the geometry, he had to wind both ends on till they were bottomed out to get the the front to toe in slightly, never really looked into it though. I guess they were the wrong arms. When the car goes back together it will be having a recon rack and new arms and ends so shouldn't be a problem.

 

Measured up the std rods and cosworth rod ends and visually the are exactly the same ??

 

I'm having this problem with my 3 door. Still no idear why but it's kept of from moving for over a year now lol
