Default Fabia vrs

Bought my fabia standard in September 2013. Straight away I did led lights all round, hid's and chrome indicators.

Standard wheels ready to go in anthracite.

I then took it for a custom map. Got a dual map put on, one is a low torque one with egr delete, launch control and left foot braking and the other is a high torque one with those options. Not had it rolling roaded but the same map on someone else's was 170 bhp and 310 ft/lb torque so will be similar power. The map is so smooth on it though.

Plans are to colour code the chrome grill and I think the wheels are going back silver and put another back box on to quiten it down as Ive got wandering eyes for other cars so would be a case of raise it up slightly and take the rarb and strut brace and intake off to sell separate and trade it in.
In all honesty I will probably end up keeping it as I can't think of any other diesel that will be as good. I'd like a bora but it's not got the looks and I like the mondeo st tdci but isn't as nice to drive.

This is the problem I'm having it's such a good car I can't find anything to replace it with!! I'm quite happy to keep it I've just got wandering eyes lol. Done 30k in it and only needed a map sensor. Done brakes and timing belt and water pump and just serviced it. Fancy doing a track day with it now I'm running a good spec

If you keep that K&N on there you will be blowing MAF meters as quick as you can put them on ..... you just need the ST airbox using a VW filter and just go for a Revo remap job done ......

I know I ended up going to near Liverpool for a bloke off briskoda to map it. He does a proper custom map on it. Shark in Mansfield are highly rated though

I'd love a mk1 frs but we'll out of my price range sadly. Don't think I could have one as my daily either I'm bad enough with the fabia taking it out and parking it up

There's one for sale at the min that's 260bhp, mines only stage 1 so between 180-190 but tones of torque.

I think I need to have a go in a stage 1 leon and see how it compares to mine. I could go hybrid turbo on mine and get around 220 who with a fmic but it's near on Ł2000 with a decent clutch, intercooler and turbo so think I'd rather go leon or mondeo st with more power as standard

Love this. Fantastic cars. And very nice to see one on refurbed standard wheels instead of dropped on audi rims with the sump dragging along the floor.

Nice car mate, i've got a silver 55 plate Fab vRS as my daily. Cracking cars imo

Mine has front mount cooler, hybrid turbo, full milltek and decat, re-map, pd160 intake, panel filter, egr removed, poly bushes, coilovers and anthracite wheels.

Turbo is a bit smokey on start up and over run so will be getting re-built soon.
Pulls like a train with plenty of torque tho

Doubt I'll sell mine any time soon as its ideal really. Seat cloth is a nightmare to keep clean tho. Your leather trim looks mint!

Is the cost of going hybrid worth it over the spec I'm running? I got lucky with the leathers coming up at the right price I'd never pay a grand to have them done. Do you ever go on briskoda?

Dunno mate tbh, I bought the car with everything done to it. Theres a folder full of receipts. Was a guy who worked offshore spent a fortune on it.
Pretty sure it has a stage one map as it feels around 160-170hp with plenty torque.
Yeah used to go on Briskoda quite a bit when I was looking for one and reading up on them.

Heres a couple pics of mine. Suspension now sits higher as I broke a spring on back and rear shocks were leaking so just put standard gear on the back and raised the front.
Was far too low anyway, smashed my sump off a rock when I first got it

Where did you get the green caliper paint btw? I'd heard hammerite had stopped doing the correct shade of green but yours looks bang on?

Looks like the fabia's are taking over! I sold my Focus Rs Mk1 and bought a fabia the other week, this is mine:

Plan to do a bit of colour coding, repair the seats and change the joms at some point for AP, already remaped and custom exhaust.

Im honestly not bothered loving the fact im getting 55mpg and that off a full tank im doing 500 miles! The focus did 20mpg and less and a full tank would only do 280 miles! Tbh he joms arent that bad but ive got a stange vibrate/knock on passenger side when ive got additional weight in, think its top mounts as ive done the console bushes.

Do you know how to fill the expansion part of the tank? I get 600 miles to a tank if I fill that. I personally don't mind the JOMs but my mrs keeps moaning about them so if I see some cheap springs I might go to them
