Bought my fabia standard in September 2013. Straight away I did led lights all round, hid's and chrome indicators.
I then fitted a pipercross cone I had spare but took it off after a few days as it sounded shocking.
Put a twin 3" back box on
Fitted a k&n cone I took off my st170 when I sold it.
Fitted coilovers to sort out the mega arch gap.
Replaced discs and pads all round and freshened up the callipers.
The wheels were corroded so tried to freshen up with black paint.
Started losing air so put some Audi wheels on while I sorted my wheels out.
Went abit mad and ended up buying a pd160 intake so went back to standard air box, did the CCV mod, fitted a seat sport strut brace and a whiteline rarb.
Also managed to buy a set of seat surgeon leather seats, these are £1100 to have trimmed!! The standard ones were horrible to keep clean. Got a matching arm rest too.
Fitted a boost gauge to keep a eye on things ready for when it's mapped. Also wrapped the vents and gear lever surround in carbon fibre.
Got rid of the cat. Seems to spool up quicker but was causing it to over boost.
Standard wheels ready to go in anthracite.
Decided I wanted a 3" single outward rolled tip so did away the box and it's now got no boxes in. Sounds awesome on boost!!!
I then took it for a custom map. Got a dual map put on, one is a low torque one with egr delete, launch control and left foot braking and the other is a high torque one with those options. Not had it rolling roaded but the same map on someone else's was 170 bhp and 310 ft/lb torque so will be similar power. The map is so smooth on it though.
Plans are to colour code the chrome grill and I think the wheels are going back silver and put another back box on to quiten it down as Ive got wandering eyes for other cars so would be a case of raise it up slightly and take the rarb and strut brace and intake off to sell separate and trade it in.
In all honesty I will probably end up keeping it as I can't think of any other diesel that will be as good. I'd like a bora but it's not got the looks and I like the mondeo st tdci but isn't as nice to drive.
