Default White S2 RS turbo unfinished resto

Hi all it is with great sadness im putting my car up for sale as unfinished project.
Here is a link to my resto thread so you can all see what has been done and how it stands at the moment.

https://passionford.com/forum/restor...-s2-resto.html

It is up for sale due to my friend having to close his bodyshop for financial reasons and the paint is not complete, needing all the bolt on parts painting.

This is not for the purist due to it being re-shelled into an XR body. This decision was made when i couldn't find an RS shell that was any better than the one i had which was scrap. After an extensive search found nothing i then started looking at XR an shell. This one on the H.P.I said country of origin Germany and after looking at it found it to be in fantastic condition needing minimal metal work as seen in my resto thread.
With all this in mind i have no idea of a value but would be happy with £2,500 return.
This still needs work doing but all the hard work is complete making it a great buy for someone wanting a great condition daily runner or track car.

Kind regards BAGGY

Someone lucky will end up with this you've done a cracking job restoring it, shame you didn't get to finish it

Looks lovely. Mate

You might struggle to sell for the money you want due to the time of the year

But in parts you will piss the asking price with ease

Being honest the body resto work is worth way over the asking price but its clear the owner wants it to go to a good home and get finished.
Usual case of too many cars and not enough space for me.

I guess if your planning to finish it for yourself who cares if it's an XR shell , I know it wouldn't bother me
