Default red sapphire on ebay, current bid 8K with no tax or test!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1993-FORD-...item3388111b04

Its still got two days to go!
Im surprised by how much thats going for, i knew the red was rare, but didnt realise it was that desirable.

What do we predict it will go for?

People have been totally priced out the rs500 market and some people seem to be asking silly money for 3dr's as well.
So I guess if your looking for something cosworth that's a bit rare this is a good choice

That slam panel tag is heavily overpainted. I would be seriously checking thats not off another car to make it appear to be a radiant version if I was a buyer.

Someone will be disappointed if they win it.
Engine bay and interior both need work doing, then theres the bodywork.
Much better sapphires around for less than that

Mine is a better genuine late spec saff, with working air con, red (just not that red lol), and still have all original parts
But I didn't think is worth that much, but I may be wrong, perhaps worth more then

Radiant red cars are worth a Premium, just like the other end of line colours.

If we talking special order colours how do you price them

When I was selling mine I had many a text or all saying I sold my mint white sapph for £7000or I can buy a mint moonstone for a lot less than what mine was up for and tbh I never replied or wasted my time as to me it's all said in there quote

And I think to my self how many Swartz black sapphs do you see up for sale with my spec and condition and history low miles and low owners
