Bump starting a tdci??? Thanks MikeyRobbo!!!!
Basically my starters fooked, it's lazy and drains the battery big style (swarf from a previously failed dmf.)
There's a bit of power left but not enough to turn over.
Is it worth trying to bump start it or not?

I would pick her up, if it started again.
It will fire up but now and then it will drain the battery after one go.
Rac bloke said its arcing as the casing may be cracked on the starter.
I can't push the fucking thing fast enough and she's letting the clutch go after rolling a metre. Waste of time.
Got a new starter just waiting to get it fitted on Friday.

Answer is yes!
Tow started it but took a few hundred metres as the battery was so flat the ignition wasnt turning on. And sounded rough as fook to start with.
MikeyRobbo off here came round, tow started it for me and took it to work to fit the new starter and dropped it off early afternoon.
Huge thanks pal, really appreciate it!
