Iv been looking at a discovery 3 and I know air pumps fail every couple of years, actuator bars cease on turbo's and quite a big job labour wise, belts front and rear need doing after 105,000 miles.

Make sure it goes up and down and self levels, clonking in the U/Vs, disco lights on dash, auto box leaks

Haha no problem, I've always wanted one but I'm also dubious as to how much of a liability it will be!

Thanks for the info and links, I'll have a look!

The amount of stick they get on here I can't believe you actually see any on the road

And the HSE SPORT V8 or whatever the top spec petrol version is, seems to be driven by complete wankers

Looks like a nice one, that yours?
Btw I was meaning range rovers, as in the bigger one lol. Looks like I've bought one and my mrs and couple of mates are picking it up tomorrow morning since I'm in Bucharest at the moment. I quickly viewed the car before I went away, but I've given them a big list if stuff to double check before they hand over the money. It's 2005 FLRSH 80k on the clock. Will post pics when I get them sent to me.
