Civic Type R big ends, how easy to change?

Friend of mine has asked if i can change the big ends in his 03 Type R.
Its a daily driver & only needs a short term fix until he gets a new car in January.
Seems he caught it early but looking about seems a its quite common even in lower milage cars.
Just need to know before i order parts etc if its a case of sump off change bearings & sump back on or is there anything else major involved?
Hopefully someone on here can help me out

Yes, Sounds like the really early model without the fog lights.
Edit: From memory the sump has no gasket, but a grey 'sealant' also i think you need to unbolt the torque rod from the sump
