Default Need info asap on the OFAM ecu's

Had a mate drop his Escort turbo round today for me to fit his new ZVH engine and fit his cossie management off his old car onto this one.
But the Escort already has an efi conversion and it's been been done using a full Efi XR3i loom and i said to him it seems a shame to chop the engine loom part out to replace it with the cossie one so i suggested OFAM or something that direct plug in

Just need to know:
Where to get it from
How much are they
Who maps them

Anyone got a contact no. for someone in the know please?

Just make sure the xr3i loom has had the pin out changes too work with ofab (turbo) and it should be plug and play

While your there factor in a aem wideband and aem boost solenoid too make the most of it

That was my thoughts exactly.
I've emailed boost monkeys so hopefully he'll get back to me asap. It's on OFAC at the mo so will need the pin change doing but it goes ahead, i think the plan was to run it in on his OFAC then fit / map the new ecu at the same time.
fingers crossed

It's a good idea and in my opinion it's better than cossie management

All I ever see is people complaining of poor fueling on the cossie management conversions, and studabear above took his off too fit m/s

Sell the cossie stuff and get a ofam ecu with aem wideband so you can run closed loop, and a aem boost solenoid for full control
This is what I'm saving for on my zetec turbo

2) Pin no. 27 (brown/yellow) needs moving to pin no. 45
3) EDIS Module pin 2 (blue/yellow) may now be disregarded as it is not used by the 0FAC ECU (pin 28 on ECU).

There are no MAP sensor pin changes as the OFAC MAP sensor is the same plug as the 2i MAP Sensor, so just plug and play.

But... only on some conversions it seems!
Some work plug and play and others need the above doing, maybe there are some subtle differences in the ECU/loom's of different years I don't know?! But I guess if it doesn't work one way then try it the other! lol

I'm lead to believe it's just plug and play with the original ford efi set ups?

Karlos G is the man to speak to, his number may be in his Facebook page frenzy performance tuning

Got you pm thanks mate

It's plug and play for ofab mate, so with the pin out changes it should be fine

Rob_DOHC on here is the owner of boost monkeys and is very helpful

Just ask him mate
