Default What 4X4 for 8k

Im looking for a 4x4, i do some towing, mainly a 6 birth caravan and occassionally a car, must be 7 seats and around the 8k mark, have had shoguns but the rear seats are terrible (bench seat folds in the floor), troopers, tow very well but hard to find a good one and knocking on now, like the look of Discovery's but reliability would be a worry, any ideas.

Pete

I thought that looked a good car for the money.
We have a Disco 3, it's a well spec'd one, HSE with overfinch kit, tv's etc..
It has had a few pain in the arse problems but I've done done quite a few bits to it now and it's about where I want it to be, really nice car to drive, looks good, towing is great, bad on fuel but it is a near 3 tonne car.
Although I do like the disco, for a while I did look at replacing it with an X5, I'm not a massive X5 fan but I was looking at the value of the Disco would buy a nice X5 and a mk1 FRS

Toyota land cruiser, they are ace for towing. We pull the 2.5 ton pumps at work round with it if the 8 seater transit isn't available.
