2004 Mondeo 2.0(130) tdci
Hi all,
New to this forum and looking at getting the car in the title. Just looking for advice on what to look out for before I buy. I'm told electrics and suspension, but I always check forums first. it has full service history and has covered 74,000 miles.
Any help much appreciated

Thanks for the quick reply.
I did wonder about rear bushes as its been used to tow something as the electric plug is there but no tow arm. I'll check them out best I can. Injectors I'm guessing looking for jumpy acceleration at high revs? Flywheel I'm not sure what to be checking for?

It's all about the injectors! Low mileage doesn't always equate to a good buy. It could be argued that one with higher mileage that has gone through the 'danger zone' of injectors failing is a better bet.
If it's had no work done on the fuelling side of things, and has not had a replacement DMF/Clutch, then be prepared that these may need doing in the next 10-20K, and they'll be expensive. You could get lucky and do loads of trouble free miles, just buy wisely, and walk away from any car that has even the remotest hint of running problems.
