Default focus rs gearbox convershion

hi all am going to put a focus rs gearbox in my zetec turbo mk3 fiesta and just had a few questions to ask the first one is does the fiesta zetec s pedal box fit into a mk3 fiesta so the fluid clutch can be used, also will standard 2.0 focus driveshaft's,gear selector +cables fit the focus rs gearbox cheers

as above lol doubt the shafts will be any good other wise we would all have them,the 2.0 petrol gear lever and cables will work though

A ka peddle box is a better swap.all you need to do is make the hole bigger for the clutch pipe to go through the bulkhead and the throttle cable is in the correct place aswell. You will need to have custom shafts made aswell

Cheers guys I will have to nip to my local scrappy and see what they have got and c if I can get any rs shafts from eBay lol

You won't need frs shafts, 2.0 mk3/2 mondeo or normal 2.0 focus shafts with do as donors for your custom shafts

Do the mondeo/focus driveshafts fit into the focus gearbox okay then

If there 2.0 shafts they will fit into the rs box ok

Do you not need the later 3.5 hubs for this conversion?
If not surely its still a wise move so you don't kill wheel bearings every five minutes.

You dont need to use the later 3.5 hubs (ka hubs are the same aswell) but it is best to because of the better wheel bearing designe and I think the cv joints are stronger aswell

Can I put the 3.5 drive flanges into the mk3 fiesta hubs and will I need to put the 3.5 bearings in as well cheers
