24v cosworth bob cams
Does anyone know how to tell BOB cams from BOA cams I.e part number/engraving or something?. I had just bought a set and I want to make sure they are BOB ones before I waste my time putting them in
The lift, copied from fordpower.
24v BOA:
Valve timing. inlet opens BTDC 8°
Valve timing. inlet closes ABDC 62°
Duration: 250
Valve timing. Exhaust opens 60° BBDC
valve timing. Exhaust closes 20° ATDC
Duration: 250
Overlap= 28
lift height: 9 mm for exhaust and intake.
24v BOB:
Valve timing. inlet opens BTDC 8°
Valve timing. inlet closes ABDC 62°
Duration: 250
Valve timing. Exhaust opens 56° BBDC
valve timing. Exhaust closes 14° ATDC
Duration: 250
Overlap= 22
lift height: 9.5 mm for exhaust and intake

I had alook at the cams yesterday and the numbers engraved into them were different to the ounces I am currently running but I didn't write them down so I'll do that today and post them up
How do you identify the phase sensor lobes?
Yes I have they bob timing washers and value springs
