It will vary depending on builder, my m8 paid Ł4500 for a build from dan (ABC Motorsport) but they no longer exist and that was for 400bhp, cost will depend on what's died really

400 hp is essentially a std engine (although valve cut out in pistons a good idea if doing it from scratch). Speak to Martoooooon at Reyland, would def get my vote.

Well firstly ditch the T34 as you'll end up needing to spend more as you'll kill it at 400 fast. Are you going to use a 200 block if you haven't already ?

I'd personally contact Mark Shead but that said i know he is VERY busy at present.

There's also Tony @ TS

NMS too, call them, tell then your needs and budget etc and go from there

yeah i suppose im better of asking builders personally,i would like 6 or 10 long studs and yes pistons with cut outs so i can run cams. i cracked block across 3 bolt holes and i think my head is beyond repair as water ways are well corroaded which is why i think i was blowing coolant out the header tank. i have a spare 200 block on standard bore and 2 spare heads 1 2wd and another 4x4.4x4 head has a few bent valves in it but i dont think that should be a problem to get sorted.

yeah can understand what your saying about t34,proberly better going for a t38 or something simular but that would add another 1000 notes to the build.might speak to tt where my turbo came from se if they can do an exchange.

which engine builders have a dyno as this for me would be the best way as living in gibraltar its not like i can run it in then take it back for final mapping tweaking.
