Default Fitting a Zetec into a Mk2 Fiesta

I have a 1985 Mk2 Fiesta 1.3 Ghia CVH and next year i'd like to look into fitting a Zetec.Im after some advice on what i would need,gearbox type-loom-brake upgrades etc-any advice would be great as i'd like to price it up.

I would suggest a 1.8 silvertop mated upto a escort rs turbo gearbox, rst clutch and flywheel. Modified cvh engine mount.

That should see it mounted in the bay, not sure which ford ecu and loom would suit it best though.

I would suggest get an st170 engine & Box. For the extra 100 - 200 you will pay you will get so much more back, not only is the engine a better base for future mods but you also get the benifit of 6 speed, plus it is a cable linkage like the mtx which makes a hell of a difference. All you will need for this conversion is some management, custom drive shafts, and custom mounts. Its a very easy install (look at my build thread) crazycage off here can help you with anything you need fabrication wise and Rick & unicorn, Karlos G, Robdohc, etc can advise you on the management. Sounds a little dainting for a novice at first but its the best way to base what you are after on mate. You will always have scope to go further should you wish.
