Default Help plz a newbie

Hiya peeps!

I have recently bought my second ford puma, as i managed to have a small collision with a national express coach with the first one after only owning it for a month!

I was just wondering how much to get it lowered by???

i wouldnt lower it more than 40mm, i have mine lowered by that amount with the frp wheels on it aswell as the rear disc conversion on it aswell, it is horrible to drive and am treying to locate a set of original springs to put on the koni adjustables instead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you dont want standard springs on there... i really dont get what you mean by it was horrible to drive

failing that you have to stump up £750 for some coil-overs

the original springs and the koni dampers would be great! better than it is now, the koni springs arent any good in my opinion, it seems to have lost handling! not as good as it used to be on standards! too low so it catches!!!!!!!!!!

thats your problem you see... koni springs are naff, and the quality of them is worse than standard springs...

koni admit that they're springs are crap and advise you to buy their shocks and then get a different brand of spring

get some eibach or H&R springs on those koni shocks

i cant see how it's gonna be that low, didnt ever have a single prob in my mate's ca with 17's and 60mm drop, tbh it coulda gone down about another 40mm without many probs, IMO you must have the wrong tyre size or offset
