Default Roller cabs? What you got? Reccomendations?

Evening everyone! As I'm now in my new job money is coming in, and since I wont have to spend money on expenses for 3 years yet, It's time to splash out and enjoy myself. So to the chase, I need a roller cab to house my ever expanding tool collection, and on ebay, there are some Hilka Pro and sealey ones, 7 draw, for £170, and the look of fairly reasonable quality, but I've never seen one up close. My dad has an "American Pro" roller cab, that's good quality, which was a bit cheaper, but the bottom has like a pull up draw, which is flimsy.

400455754702 is the one I'm looking at.

I can't afford snap on boxes, but want something reasonable, not shite.

Anyone had experience with these

any reccomendations to an affordable DIY roller cab?

Not bothered about the box on top, got 2 of them now.

thanks

This might be out of your price range but the halfords industrial cab is good!
It's on offer atm, buy that and the top chest for £350.

They do have others there as well which could be better suited?

Just see this one, its a web only deal but for £150, can't be bad, considering the cab is £200 itself!

I've got a fairly big Snap On top and bottom box and I love it!

Could you not get yourself a good used Snap On box?

This is what I have:

Thinking of getting the large Clarke unit top and bottom, have you been happy with the quality?

grab the halfords industrial kit, much better than the lower spec ones, some of the clark range is good, the cheapest is crap though really. draws don't slide nicely at all on a cheap clarke one i have, same goes for the cheaper halfords ones.
the more expensive clarke ones are pretty good though, wouldn't put me off.

My Clark one has double skinned walls and roller bearing draws.
Two guys I work with just signed them selfs up for 3 grand tool boxes at 80 pounds a month! What a total waste in my book lol

This does look like a good setup, might keep an eye out and see if they put an offer on it again, looked a few days ago in Halfords and it was 500 all in.

The industrial range is listed online at £350 for top box and roller cab. Dirt cheap for what it is

I just collected the 2nd Halfords industrial one for someone in work yesterday.

We also have the cheaper red Halfords one but the industrial one is much better TBH.

Still on offer for £350 when bought together.

Or if you know someone with trade and only want top or bottom part its £179 for top and around £270 for the bottom. Tho for the extra £100 worth getting both.
