Default timing issue on a fiesta 1.25 zetec

Hi ,

My little festa goes like stink normally but lacks power on hills feels like timing not advancing altough i know this is controlled by the ecu but is there a sensor related to this. cheers.

Have you changed the timing belt recently? If yes there is a possibility that is not adjusted correctly...there is also a possibility that the cam sensor malfunctioning. If the cams timing is not correct then the cam sensor malfunctions also...So check the timing then the sensor, clean your throttle bodie and clean the injectors, then i believe you will be fine.
