Ive got a C2 vtr semi auto with the snow flake symbol on the dash issue, been reading up and people are saying start with a gearbox software up date before changing actuators etc. is the software up date main dealer only.

 

Generally software updates are dealer only with most things as they come direct from the manufacturers.

First thing would be to have the fault codes read.
