Hi all Im new here I have just got a very rare car at least in Australia
its a XR4ti Im also a member of the Australian Ford forums and have been told that there are only seven XR4ti Sierras in Queensland
Here in Australia Ford got it terribly wrong back in 1981
they stopped making Cortinas and Escorts
and gave us Mazda 323 with Ford badges and called them Lasers
and the Mazda 626 also with Ford badges and called them Telstars
so we didnt get the series 3 Escort or the Sierra at all
anyway my new midlife crisis car has a few probs and was hoping
some one can help so here goes
The motor is very smoky around the front near the timing cover
and also with the 5 speed the stick is so loose I keep getting the wrong gear is there any ajustment on the gearbox
thats it for now
