Default Coilovers On a MK7

Howdy all,

I have a MK7 Fiesta Zetec S, and I'm quite happy with the suspension on it, seems to float over potholes relatively well and what not, however I have been told all sorts about how coilovers just improve the overall driving experience, so I'm interested in looking into them, but I've never done this before so I'm a little bit wary of just buying the first kit I see and ruining the ride of the car.

So, what I'm basically asking is would you recommend coilovers, what are peoples experiences with them, and if they're worth the upgrade which ones would you recommend? I'm not rolling in cash at the minute but I've found a few sets that may be in my budget range, however I'm pretty much a noob and this and I don't know which is good and who is crap.

Feedback much appreciated, cheers

Hi Danny,

Had coilovers on my old Clio, really enjoyed the cornering ability with the help of them. Unfortunately I can't tell you what make they were, as they was already fitted, but I have a strong suspicion they were AP Coilovers mate.
