Default What Air Compressor

I'm thinking about buying a air compressor so I can paint the underside of my fiesta and few other bits and pieces

What size compressor would I need to do paint spraying?

You cant go wrong with one of these for the money and you get a 3 year warranty, I have the smaller one and used it to stone chip a car at the weekend with no problem.

I agree, done a bit in my time. Only to truck sides, skids etc but i would suggest a min of 150l for spraying. Get a decent gun too, not clarke shite.

Dont buy a direct drive one like in the link as they are noisy and shit, dont go above 3hp or you may have running problems if your leccy supply is crap.3hp 150 litre is ideal for at home for light spraying but tank size is not the be all and end all like some people like to think.ERP in hull make very good quality units but arnt cheap but use the best pumps.Buy a belt driven machine as they are quieter and more reliable, the more you spend the better machine you get.watch prices of sealleys as they tend to be overpriced,Clarke arnt to bad but do hear bad stories about getting parts at sensible prices
