Speed Awareness Course - Who's done one?
Just got back from doing one and was pleasantly surprised by it. I was fully expecting a load of anti speed bollocks and a brace of we're right and you're wrong. In actual fact it was open and frank discussion with loads of points raised.
I doubt I will change anything I do driving but there was some food for thought.

We had a guy who didn't know he couldn't tow a caravan at 70 and a woman that didn't know streetlights meant 30 unless otherwise posted and kept arguing they were wrong. Even when I piped up with my professional hat on she wouldn't have it. And another woman who had no idea it was illegal to use her phone whilst driving.
Bit scary how many total fucktards are on our roads.

You lot are happy as long as there's food there
I did one a few years ago, and although it was pretty patronising for a young person to do, I left feeling that it should probably be mandatory for the older generation, say 65+ as a good refresher course.
Older people should deffently do some sort of refresh course! I think there just as much danger on road as young people!

I did one a few years back, found it useful.
£85 and a few hours out
or
3 points on your licence + a fine, then having to disclose that to the insurance companies and then being dry bum fucked for increased premiums for the rest of your driving life as your deemed a 'greater risk' as 'you are a speeder'

I did one about 5 years ago and I fucking hated it!
The woman that took it decided to pick on me the whole time as I had the highest speed of the group (37 mph) and the fact that I drove for a living! Bitch!

Boring, when they went round the circle at the end asking each person 'what would stop you speeding in the future after todays experience?'
reply 'paying another £60 to come here again' lol
