Default Anyone go Trax 2013?

I went but only for the track action.

It was raining most of the day so made my first track session "interesting" as i had never driven on a wet track before. Still managed to push an Evo around the track for a few laps as we would not let me pass

Then in my later session after the track had dried a little i even scalped an E46 m3

Puma engined Fiesta's rock

Anyone see the Drifters crash? cars didnt look too good from where i was standing.

Will upload pics once i get them sent through

I only went for the tracktime too. Track photos are now available apparently, going to look in a minute. Had great fun pushing an Evo too, had a couple of interesting moments with other cars too.

I went purely for the time attack cars

The rest of the 'show' was absolutely terrible, full of fibreglass crap.

Fast ford stand and the time attack garages was the best part of the day.

Raining got silly so went home about 1ish

Yep did two track sessions, was out in L and 0

Did the L session in the dry, and ive got to say what a joke it was, cars over taking on bends, overtaking on the right hand side and cutting you up.

Then the O session was interesting in the pissing down rain with standing water on the track, much perfered it in the rain if im honest.

I was in the Red Mk5 Golf Gti.

You make an appearance at about 8 mins Andy

You're right about the standards but I just expect it now, I know it shouldn't happen but it does. Too many heroes who haven't even been on track before half the time.

Session Q: Mine came into it's own in the wet, Toyo R1Rs are superb then, overheat quickly in the dry.
FFWD to about 50 secs and I straighten the bulletcam a bit lol. I start to reel everything in after a few laps.

I went. My forum had a stand there. Didnt track the 170 as the gear selector is fragile to say the least. Held in by locktite at the mo :/ My mate in his megane 265 was out there though. Standards on track were very mixed, some absolute poons and some great drivers. Some nice cars there and some absolute shite but its the same every year. I enjoyed it though, i like the variety of cars you get there and theres plenty to do and see

Andy u were behind me as I was trying to get past that Evo then u overtook me and he wouldn't let u pass either. He was hogging the track & everytime I tried to go past him down the straight he put his foot down and then slowed right down

I had more fun in the wet too lol

White Evo?

He was a prick, couldnt drive it for toffee, and he had a nice off onto the grass on the S bend.

I was out braking him into the bends and flashing him and calling him a wanker because he wouldnt move, probably why he moved for me, at one point i did think about punting him off but the missus carmed me down

The wet session was miles more fun, i can see why Touring car drivers love a good race in the wet

Your fiesta went well!!

Nice Video
I really need better suspension on the golf, rolling around like a fat bird

I havent done a track session at Traxs for about 3 years so forgot how bad it really was, and did Oulton Park in July for Modified Live and was very well marshalled.

That Tvr was just naughty!!

Yeah White Evo with a prick of a driver. Glad he fell off the track lol

I'm surprised how well the fiesta went - can't wait to do another track day - not bad for a Ł500 banger

Jay i didn't even bother looking round the show.

Literally just ventured a few mins walk away from the car until my back started to go so turned back and watched the track action instead.

Only reason I went was for the track.

Was a bit disappointed it wasn't the full grand prix circuit like years ago but then again ford fair also used the shorter circuit.

Same here, at least I can say I've driven the National Circuit as well now though. I only walked around the Time Attack cars really. Retail Village is too loud for anyone over 18 IMO. Too many Car Audio companies trying to out do each other.

Since there is now no longer any "max power live" or similar CHAV car shows, and "cruising" is banned pretty much everywhere, its the only place legally the barry boys can turn up
