Hi all,
I've always wanted to ask what the letters on the end of CD number plates meant, a typical plate would read CD 138 SC.
Anyone know?

The one you posted doesnt follow normal plate types.

 

I think they are Diplomatic plates. They're used by embassies etc.

 

I thought embassies had number plates with loads of 0000 in them such as 00 008. Probably wrong but that's what i thought they were.

 

"Diplomatic vehicles' number plates start with two numerals which indicate the embassy to which they are attached, then two letters CD (Corps Diplomatique)"
