flat face 5 spoke compomotives
No 'fraid not local to you Ronnie!
Johny many thanks for your reply, that's exactly the set up I have on my 3dr with Comp Mo 6 spokes, but 18".
My ET is 33 plus a v slim spacer, so pretty much on 35, so Ronnie, although I've cracked the clearance issue, the ET isn't going to work for me sorry.
Thanks for your help gents.
Cheers

I've got AP7040 6 pots and 355mm discs behind mine they cleared with an ET33 although i'm now out to ET17 with spacers (just to widen the track)
Iain i'm sure you could have them machined down to the right offset for you.

I'm not sure I follow though. If you've added spacers your ET should now be larger shouldn't it?
ET 33 is the inner face of the wheel centre, 33mm away from the centre line of the wheel. To be ET17 would mean that you've reduced that distance, not increased it as you say. Zero being the centre line..
OR.. have I got this offset business completely wrong?
With Ronnie's being ET15 the mounting face of the wheel is only 15mm off the centre line of it's total width. To get to ET35 for example, I would need a 20mm spacer?
Happy to stand corrected, but that's my understanding..

Ah, just re-reading your post - you're saying your wheels are ET17 AND you have spacers on.. with you now.. That clears that one up. I really don't want to run spacers though. Cheers

You definitely wouldn't need to run spacers. Can't explain exactly et
But the lower the et the further the wheel sits out.
So et15 will sit 15mm further out than a et30

I've got huge arch mods, but I can't see getting away with pushing the outer edge of the wheel any further than I am now, even if I am going down to 17's.
Thanks again, GLWTS

Sorry I didn't need to add the bit about the spacers really lol
The lower the ET or offset means the further they stick out (giving better brake clearance) Althought you don't need ET15 or ET17 to clear AP 6 pots only ET33.
So you'll beable to machine the current ET15 down to ET33 if you like to get them to fit under the arches but still clear your brakes.
Iain is it a 3 Door you have?

Yes mate it is.
Do you think there's that much meat on the wheel centres to whip that much off?
It's possible.. Compo have two sizes listed ET15 to 35 and 35 to 50 so maybe they came off the same moulding.
Only thing is now the cost is rising.. machining and paint (sorry Ronnie, orange isn't my thing LOL)
Cheers
