I'm not sure I follow though. If you've added spacers your ET should now be larger shouldn't it?
ET 33 is the inner face of the wheel centre, 33mm away from the centre line of the wheel. To be ET17 would mean that you've reduced that distance, not increased it as you say. Zero being the centre line..
OR.. have I got this offset business completely wrong?
With Ronnie's being ET15 the mounting face of the wheel is only 15mm off the centre line of it's total width. To get to ET35 for example, I would need a 20mm spacer?

Ah, just re-reading your post - you're saying your wheels are ET17 AND you have spacers on.. with you now.. That clears that one up. I really don't want to run spacers though. Cheers
