They look ok on the taper but I want to check before trusting them

Nope, don't fit. I ran a set of 16" Mondeo cossie style rims on my XR3i (S2) and the (standard 3i/RS) bolts aren't right. I bought a set of bolts and collars from Ford that did the job perfectly.

I'm not saying these are the ones, but this is what they looked like;
