hello people im in need of sum advise on where to take my car to get set up. my car is an escort estate mk3-4 zetec turbo running omex 600 fully forged bottom end uprated valve springs 4x4 cosworth t3 turbo manifold so turbo is over gearbox rover inlet and so on,
im based in milton keynes and was wondering if and who people have used near by or can recommend me sum where as ive got my car running and its so rich on the base map dont want to do any damage to the engine. hope some one can point me in the right direction or im willing to pay for a good map to be sent to me thanks people.

 

you need to take the car somewhere decent rather than drive it on a mapp that isnt right for the car

getting a mapp off someone should really be for just getting it running and checking it all over and making sure it all works before taking it for mapping

gordon at street racers would be a good bet
and also if someone could supply you with chris tods number, very experienced with omex (he might do it as a side job to his work)
northampton motorsport have some good reviews, but as you do before picking a tuner always make sure you do your research on the company beforehand as any bad reviews will be on the net, and ring them up and see what you think of them on the phone
could always contact MA developments and see if he would be interested in doing it.

but someone who does omex that i personally rate and have experience with is norris motor sport NMS and they would do a fab job with the car

 

Thanks for the reply fella yer I had Norris in mind. Spoke to Northampton Motorsport and he seems gd. It's just hard to put your trust in sumone if you no what I mean. Yer I'm after the car to be 110% I've spent far to much on it no to leave it with a shit map. Want the car to run to it best ability. Thanks fella.

Jamie is the man with gotech, but I've not heard of him with Omex so you would need to inquire

There's a guy selling a s2 nms car on here mapped on Omex so could ask him for a reference ?

But I rate nms because I have used them

I'm fitting gotech at the min so jamsport is where I need to go as they are viewed as the best with that system

I would rather travel and use the best when it comes to mapping

Hence if I had altronic or vipec I would only go to ma developments

i have seen a few places mate but when my car went to REYLAND MOTORSPORT it came out a different car! absolute beast! it was shockingly fast,excellent response and sounded nice and quiet that was ages back it still runs PERFECT! martin at reyland mapped it for me i am impressed and he even waited for me to finish work and collect it after working hours cannot thank him enough oh and got a graph etc and a health check on the car ! mine is omex on zetec turbo with t34 turbo tubular manifold, rover inlet etc etc its in a rs turbo and the car ran 13.1 at santa pod will do late 12s on the right tyres!
