Never taken the pug to pod, and fancied a run up the strip
So yesterday it had 3 runs up the strip
It survived the day fine
But I was only launching at 3000 revs
Here is the vid from run 3 my quickest time
12.88 @112mph
Here is my timing sheet

Good tyres mate , you say you aren't launching hard , were you getting good grip to launch harder? Or spinning in 1st and needing launch at lower revs. either way with a bit of practice you could get the 60ft down at least 0.2 and could bring the time down byas much as 0.4

Grip was fine, was slipping the clutch a little
Was doing it all to save damage to transmission
If it was taken in trailer It would have been a different story

Did you only choose to do 3 runs mate? Or was it flat out there and you only managed to get in 3 runs?
I want to go, but its a fair old distance away from me and would hate to go that far and only manage to get 3 runs in :/

Remember it's hard on the car too so remember your AA/RAC card. I broke my front engine mounting once and had to drive back to Worcester very gently.

Smit , yeah loved that car
Ryan I'm from card so 190mile trip to get there, 1st run queued for 20 mins or so, went straight back in queue and waited 3 hrs
Bloody bikes, glue track, someone broke a leg and dragsters
3rd run was about 1hr or so after second ,
Few issues caused delays which was annoying
I stopped at 3 as I was happy with time and run 4 would have meant more revs and more chance of breaking it,
I drive it home so was happy with that,
