take it to a tuner - Sounds like it only running off the actuator and not the amal valve. might need to use a bleed valve. Take it to a garage, put a -31 actuator and bleed valve on and get them to set it up for you at 15psi

Just read the origianal post!!! You can't put the ecu from a S2 into a S1

Did you put it a S2 ecu into a S1?? Bit confusing up there

If so I think one of the reasons it won't work is that it won't have the knock sensor!!! It is operating in a safety mode kind of thing and won't be using the amal valve which electronically controls the boost hence you are only getting 8psi from the actuator!!

Take it to a tuner

You have to set the boost on the actuator and in turn, you need an ECU with the boost limit removed and in turn, you need the fueling set up for your new boost limit....

Take the car to a tuner.

If it is an S1 then run an S1 ECU (blue red blue colour code, or a blue red white will do which is from a very early spec S2).
