Have I reconnected one of the leads on manifold wrong?

Brown socket to brown plug.
Blue socket to blue or grey plug
Yellow or white socket to yellow plug
Black socket to black plug!

Yellow = coolant temp sensor
Black = aux air valve
Brown = thermo time switch
blue = cold start injector.

It won't do. It is the coolant temp sensor and as the ECU is detecting an open circuit, it will be throwing in fuel for -40 degrees conditions...

Change the sensor and see what happens..
