Loved the look of the mondeo st for a long time now and thinking of getting 1 I have about 6k to spend and think the tdci is the 1 for me as its a daily 40 mile round trip to work I really like the spec etc for the money your views etc welcome good or bad
Personally I use a Focus ST for my daily 30-odd mile commute but I do like the look of the Mondeo ST's and with a little time and attention they can be made extremely nice. Not heard many complaints about them tbh. Go for it mate

Pick the mondeo up next week its fully loaded only things I want to do is seat covers to protect the recaros ordered the front and annoyingly cant get a rear bench cover I also want to upgrade all the main bulbs to ultra bright xenon bulbs including side lights puddle lights and number plate bulbs ive seen a car round my way which looks the nuts a bmw and the number plate bulbs were so white looked like neon white any ideas on what I need and where to get them its a 2007 st tdci
If its an ST TDCi it wont have Recaros as standard, only 220 standard fit. May have been retrofitted or its the half leather.
Search for the abundance of DMF, injector, EGR etc issues that come with the diesels, they can be costly if havent been done, may be cheaper to run a 220 in the long run.
As an allround car, excellent imo, never expected such a big car to drive so well and feel comfortable in long runs.
What mileage? Check out Mondeo STOC.

I have an 06 plate and I love it.
Just fitted LED side lights, puddle lights, reg lamp bulbs, ordered eibach pro springs and 20 mm spacers. I am keeping an eye out for a set of recaros but not found any that meet my standard yet.
