Default NMS Series 2 escort rs turbo (87) !NOW BREAKING! FULL LIST ON RS TURBO PARTS

NMS Spec 1600 cvh

NMS Head machined for 300bhp+ think it's stage 7..Newmans phase 4 fast road cam, solid lifters and single valve springs.

Robson engineering EN24T H section con-rods custom made to NMS specification, shot peened and fitted with ARP big end bolts.

Cosworth mahle pistons 0.75 oversize.

Block - cleaned, descaled and painted..torque bored for rebuild, block face decked, block face remachined to accept Custom NMS head stud conversion, essential for 300bhp+.

New modified oil pump, for high flow and high pressure.

Original sump blasted, cleaned and painted in 2 pac black paint.

Straight through 2.5" exhaust with 4" back box.

Pace single pass FMIC with twin fans

Custom radiator with copper core, from Tony's white erst.

Mk1 focus RS injectors

bosch 044 fuel pump

Omex 600 management

Garrett T34.48 turbo, rebuilt 1500miles ago by cr turbos. And new actuator

Vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts.

300mm focus ST170 calipers and grooved disks

Zetec coilpack

Brand new battery

Brand new starter motor

Spec R header tank

Powder coated rocker cover with NMS logo engraved

Reverse charge carrier

Full samco black hose kit, apart from turbo to filter which is blue

Diesel mk5 box, been In the car for 6months and hasn't missed a beat, doesn't crunch at all.

Helix 4 paddle clutch.

Chassis:

I had this done at NMS when the engine was built,

New floor, sills and rear passenger arch.

Fully waxoiled underneath

Passenger door had rust taken out and resprayed also the scuttle panel

Polycarbonate front windows with sliders, 3 months old but are marked due to being marked very very easily. Have original glass and runners etc to go with the car

Poly bushed lower arms

Koni adjustable suspension on the front and standard rear.

Full new Braided brake lines

6 point safety devices roll cage, with all new welded mounts/plates for bolts.

Flocked dash also from tony turbo's erst, custom made for 3 defi gauges 60mm, also a 52mm gauge holder by the ash tray, 6 switches to be used for whatever you need, only 1 is used at the moment for high and low boost settings.

Carbon clocks in vgc.

OMP deep dish steering wheel.

Omex ecu lives in the glovebox for ease of mapping etc, also the car can be mapped by a plug by the switches

Standard rs turbo wheels in Volvo grey, starting to flake and have been a little chipped etc, didn't spend any money on getting them done properly.

Car is mapped to perfection by Karl at NMS, low boost setting is set at 18psi and high boost setting is set at 28psi.

Engine has covered 8000miles since being built, and 1000 miles since being mapped to 28psi.

I never thought I'd sell this car but the time has come to move on to something a little newer and 4WD, I have hundreds of receipts with the car, MOT's from the 90's and tax discs going back years.

I've spent over £15,000 on the car from buying it, ill never make it back but id like to see it live on, I may break it if there's enough interest but it's alot of hassle and slightly disheartening due to the car being setup very well as a package and having put all the time into it. The engine owes me about £10,000.

I have loads and loads of spares to go with the car, about £500 worth of spares if you wanted to sell them. Original dash, clocks, seats..everything apart from the carpet, which I'm sure you could pick up cheap enough. The car is totally stripped for lightness.

I'm a detailer so I do like to keep the car as clean as it can be but due to rust on panels etc it not immaculate, it gets a full detail every couple of months.

Bad points:

Someone reversed into me a while back with a tow bar and it cracked my front bumper and bent the intercooler in slightly, nothing has affected the performance of the car, it's not overly noticeable in a weird way.

passenger door had filler in it and is starting to crack, I do have another door to go with the car unsprayed.

The boot has some rust Round the edge of the window, The sunroof doesn't work, doesn't have a winder anyway because of the cage, the roof is a bit faded. Still have the roof lining in though.

The boot needs some small amount of welding which the pictures will show.

Apart from that its a nice all round car, im not going to make out its immaculate because its not but it is very clean. I'm being as honest as I can with it so people don't waste my time or there's.

The seat won't go with the car unless I get the right money for it..ill put the standard one back in.

It's a very good car for someone who has £1.5-2k to chuck at it to get the rust done and resprayed..All the underneath/chassis has be done and a very strong engine to go with it, would be the perfect car with a nice paint job.

It's an extremely fun and very very quick car.

Always run on 99vpower

PX with a diesel or anything, just offer and see what happens.

Price is £5250ono

As from now it has 11months MOT and 6months tax.

Ill add more as I think, there's so much to list.
Any of the above that was done by NMS can be confirmed by ringing them and asking about it.

Any questions please just ask.

Thanks, Joe

Joe sorry to say it bud but if I was you I would break it

You will get less time wasters and a lot more money, you will struggle because of the climate at that price

BUT I think if you sell everything and take your time and not rush to sell it I think you will get what you want for it in bits

It's a great spec and only thing missing was a gearbox conversion

That tall block alone is a couple of grands worth at least

Thanks mark, I'm considering breaking it but its time and hassle, I'd love to see it still going as a car, I know not many people will spend that much on a car like this but I thought I'd give it a go.. I am open to offers however.

Yeah the engine is one of the best out there for a 1600 cvh, gearbox and coilovers would finish the car and make it a great car.

But if it needs welding and painting that's a good 2-3k that needs spending on it.

Worth more in parts.

If you decide to break it, I would be interested in the engine set up.
