Default Can I tow a 4x4 sapphire

I'm buying a 4x4 sierra cosworth and want to tow it home on a straight bar but I've been told you can't because of the 4x4 system is this right or not?

I remeber a few years back i towed my 4x4 due to a clutch cable snapping.

Everything seemed fine afterwards

Pretty sure as long as all 4 wheels on ground it will be ok, think probs occur when the front wheels are lifted to tow

short distances at slow speeds are advisable
the car has to be road legal and insured

Fine as long as all four wheels are turning. Problem comes when you try and tow them with front two wheels off the floor!
