Is a fuel swirl pot a worthwhile modification on a approx 200bhp rs turbo?? And also how awkward or easy are they to fit??

Not in the slightest. There is already a swirl pot in the tank. Plus the pump is mounted just beneath the tank joined to it by a foot or so of piping. There's also a fuel accumulator just before the fuel filter to ensure the metering unit is never starved.
