I will be sorry to see this go as with this package it has no more lag than a standard car just more power everywhere in the rev range, but still has perfect normal driving mannors.

I would say this faster than the r8 in the dry anyway.

Yes there are a good few cars running 500 on standard internals now with the more modern maps, keeping all the original safety features of the ecu.
