hi chaps

is it possible to fit the petrol tank strap with the tank in insitu ,i have tried this morning and seems a bugger

Am pretty sure it is mate ,just a bit tight when you have to twist the strap to fit by the back bumper if i remember rightly

 

I always bolt the tank up then fit the strap, bit of a fiddle with the strap but nothing to hard.

Yeh I did mine last year it was a bit fiddly getting it to hook in to the back of where the bumper goes.

 

Yeah you can, as long as the car is high enough as you need to twist the strap in before you lay it over the tank and bolt it up.

If it's on axle stands you might not get the angle, I had to jack mine up really high
