Gt30?
Would a gt30 be a good turbo for my spec?
Standard head
Bd14 inlet cam
6 long studded 200 block
Cosworth racing pistons
Greys
500 cooler
Grp a breather
I used to run a .48 housing with greens but when I had Bluesprint rebuild the engine I had greys and .63 fitted then mapped to run 2.1bar. I love the extra power I get at top end but the extra lag is beginning to annoy me
if a gt30 is suitable for my spec would it come on boost much earlier than the t34.63? If its not suitable what would be a good turbo for me and rough cost of unit including extras I'd need to fit it
Thanks Billy

the gt30 will make more power than the t34
but it wont realy spool any faster
a change of cam can help but the 34 isn't realy that bad
its once you start going bigger on turbo's that you realy see the lag
1 of the new breed of turbo(twin scroll/borg warner etc) may be better but very expensive and not realy needed at your power level
