Default Mk1 3-Door Focus 'project'

Due to house move and arrival of a new car I regrettably have for sale a Mk1 1.8 Zetec 3-door project. This car was bought by us in 2003 from its second owner. At that time it had done 98,000 motorway miles and was in completely standard form. We searched for a long time to get a White 3-door with rear discs.
It has been run and modified by my son and myself since then and has now done appx 150,000 miles and engine is still sound. It has not been used for a year and the MOT and tax runs out in July. It will easily MOT again as it has done no mileage since last year. It has however been tidied up with a respray (excl roof), the wheel arch liners removed and surface rust treated and repainted. It has sat in our garage since then and needs to be put back together again. There are loads of modifications on or with the car; I will list the ones I can remember. This is a pic of the car prior to fitting collection front bumper and respray.

4 x Pro Race 3 7 x 17 wheels NEW, Zero Miles and 205/45 17 Vredstein Ultrac Cento tyres. NEW, Zero Miles.
Eibach Shocks and springs.
ST170 Front and rear brakes (New Discs and Pads)
Piper exhaust and ceramic coated St170 manifold (heat shield lugs removed)
ST 170 Airbox and auto inlet, K&N panel filter.
Upgraded single throttle body.
B&M short shift kit.
Collection front bumper
Colour coded side skirts and rear bumper
Rear fog light mod
Rear spoiler
Ford 6 CD head unit
Infinity bass link in boot (removed at present) with dash control

Loads of spares with the car including

Additional Collection front bumper
Standard front bumper
2 x Standard ST 170 Exhausts
4 x ST170 alloys (need refurb) and continental tyres (3mm and just above wear indicators)
2 x St170 Zenon Lights
ST170 Pedal Set
Strut Brace

Photos of the car in its various formats can be seen on the following photobucket album, but please keep in mind that these photos have been taken over the years since 2003. The ones taken in the garage with all the junk piled on it are how it stands at the moment.

The car could be put back together in a day a day and MOT;d, Taxed and run as it is or stripped out, stick a 2.0 zetec on throttle bodies and a cage in it and you have a fun track day car. The reg number does not come with the car and is not for sale.

I want £1250 for it with all the spares and would prefer to sell it this way and not split it.

Cheers

Pity I haven't got it built up since respray, it looks even better with the collection front bumper on.

Just went through MOT, nothing needed and no advisories.
Just needs side mouldings, front wheel arch liners, basslink and boot trims re fitting and its good to go!

Driving this again to get it Mot'd has reminded me what a great car the Mk1 is to drive. This is not a typical old Focus and drives better than many 50k mile cars I have had. Will be sorry to see it go.

Another £100 off. There's a good bit towards your fuel costs to get here guys. :-D
Thats £1150 or £1000 with just the spare set of alloys. Here's a few photos taken just the other day with its original number back on. (Still the original supplying dealership plates)

It looks pretty built up already.. I had a MK1 Focus 1.8 with 160k on it and it still drove fantastically well. Good luck with the sale.

Cheers,
Grant
