Here im selling my rs1600i van. It started off life as a mk4escort van but in 2007 i converted it to mk3. The conversion resto can be foundhere

it is lowered on the front with lowering springs & therear has had the axle placed on top of the springs to lower it a couple ofinches. The ride is very hard but its still able to carry a full load withoutany problems.
All tyres have very good tread. The fronts are 195 45 15& the rears are 195 50 15. I will also include a set of 4 195 50 15 tyresas spares
The engine is 1.8 diesel & has been replaced in the pastwith an endure de out of a fiesta courier van. Its slow & noisy buteconomical & doesn’t use any oil. I will also include a 1.8 16v zetecincluding wiring loom & ecu free of charge if the buyer wants it. There isa guide on passionford.com of how to fit a zetec into a mk3/4.
Bodywork is in overall ok condition (its no show winner)there is a couple of bits of rust on one of the rear arches (pictured). I will includea replacement arch. The bottom corners of the front doors have rust & thereis a paint reaction on the n/s/r roof. The paint on the bonnet is very dull. A coupleof years ago the inner & outer sills were replaced along with the flooredge inc seat mounts. All the rot was cut out & new metal was put in. The innersills were replaced with 1.5mm steel rather than the normal 1.2mm. inside thesills were rust proofed so should last a very long time.
The interior is fitted with half leather recaros in goodcondition. It will include a ripspeed dvd player. you can get about 8 music cd’sonto one dvd or watch dvd’s although the screen is a bit small for this. The vanis fitted with electric windows & central locking.
The van is showing 87k on the clock, unfortunately thespeedo hasn’t worked for at least 4 years due to needing a new cable so the mileagewill be higher than this.
I have owned the van for approx 8 years. In that time itsbeen all over the country & been very reliable (lets face it, there really isn’tmuch on these to go wrong)
It has 12months mot &6months tax (at the time of the advert)
