After 25 years it is now being rebuilt, new shell but some body parts being used

I got the new shell for group4 historic about 2 years ago James, it sat in Dominic's garage, then a certain southern rallycross driver wanted to try historic rallycross so it is getting built for him, the idea came along to build it the same as the old zakspeed shell dominic had lying, He hope's to have it running an finished in about 2 weeks so will get better pictures of it on its wheels then

 

looking forward to progress on it frank ,should be awesome

I am not much of a holiday person frank, am here only to keep the wife happy,I don't like to much heat,weather has been very hot,until today,few clouds today but still dry ,sun and warm.
Mk2 was lookin good last day I called in for a look at it,Dominic and the boys were all flat out working on it to get er finished, I made a joke with Dominic ref how fast its been built,that mine won't take to long to build lol...

James about 4 weeks ago 1st run out an Tommy was racing a Porsche, 3rd heat the Porsche got the better of him an he thought he could get him on the last lap, went to deep an then went airbourne, rolled about 6 times, it's in YouTube, type in big crash in Lydden hill, it will be out again next year

 

 

Thanks mate, the first thing tommy said when he came back to the pits was, we need to sort out launch control an get more power! 400 not enough! Lol

 

the last day I was over at dominic s they where getting ready to head of with this car,
it was stunning,
all the best getting it sorted again
