What BMW e60 oil to use

As title, wants the best oil grade to use in my 520d, and iv read a breather mite want changing,

I have a bmw e46 330d. it is a 53 plate.

since using redline my service interval has gone from 15200 to 18600. I also use redline in my toy! for the bmw i use 5w40.
