Best clutch for cosworth?
I am running a stage 2 4x4 cossie running 320bhp it has a ford standerd clutch fitted and seem fine no slipping etc. problem is after giving it a hard launch the other day it slipped till when cold so thinking of changing it so wots the best to go for for the best sort of money.

Ap, Hella, Helix or Alcon Alcon being the best really its all down to preference as well 4paddle being very harsh to use as an everyday driver or around town i'm using a 6paddle very good feel
After a lot of thought and asking similar questions i set my heart on a 6 paddle Alcon with Std cover. But a AP 6 paddle came up for £80 so i bought that.
Good thing about the Alcon is that you can send it back and they referb it for like £100.

depends on what you wish to use it for and what your willing to put up with really, ive driven all sorts AP paddle to me seemed on or off, alcon paddle a lot better but always found with paddles hard work in traffic etc and make horrible noises when getting hot (ie queuing to get into a show etc) best clutch ive ever had in my cosworth is the one I have now helix organic im running about 400bhp mark but doubt it would be happy with much more power/torque it has now and again I wont risk launching it but pulling away / dealing with traffic is fantastic
