Heater Matrix?
Hi all,
My car has been sitting in my garage since last august whilst I have been tinkering with the underside
I have noticed that at the front of the car behind the center console I have a few small drips of greeny looking watery substance that have dripped onto the carpet and since then I moved the floor mat under there and a few more little drips have gone on that.
Wot's the problem here then, it is the matrix right? anyone know the likely cause of the prob and what I need to do to fix it? is it a dash out job? also, is it going to get worse when the car is back up and running? if it is going to be a pain in the arse to fix I may just wait till after the show season and sort it then when the car comes off the road again over winter for more bits.

Thank you

Adam id say the symtoms definatly sujest the heater matrix.....its not a difficult job, just a little time consuming, the whole dash doesnt need taken out just the lower section of it.
It took me 2hours maximum, not knowing what I was doing, so Im sure with a little guidance you will have it changed in no time.
Personaly Id fix it ASAP as once the system is preasurised your temps will start to rise very quickly because of the air in the system.
I put off changing a heater matrix and cost myself a head gasket....once bitten twice shy and all that.
